The American MedTech Association is dedicated to training, testing and certifying lay responders to act fast and expertly deliver care to victims of emergency situations. Our certified responders courses consist of hours of classroom lecture (or online video), hands-on training and video instruction. Students emerge with a knowledge that gives them the confidence they need to respond quickly, efficiently and with expertise when an emergency arises.

Our certified responder courses stand up to the most strict standards in the First Aid / CPR training industry.

Our training standards are considered equal to the standards of the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association, but in many cases, our standards exceed theirs.

Our classes provide lay responders with the training they need on a biannual basis. We firmly believe that frequent training is necessary to give a lay responder the confidence level needed to act wisely and swiftly. Emergency response training needs to be provided, demonstrated and assessed by a certified instructor every two years for lay responders. 

We specialize in training River Guides, Outdoors Activities Directors, Camp Counselors, Scout Leaders, River Control Officers, Game & Wildlife Officers and Professional Wilderness and Fishing Guides. Many of our students need more than the industry standard offers. We customize classes and courses to better fit the circumstances of our clientele.

We also offer Advanced Classes designed for Professional Medical Staff, Professional Rescuers and Responders that are working in wilderness or remote settings. 

We currently offer our unique "Family First Aid & CPR" course that brings the class to your home. Your entire family will be trained in the comfort of your own home. Your instructor will not leave until they're sure that we have prepared your entire household to handle an emergency with calm and confidence.
